In honor of Cinco de Mayo we had to make a cocktail with Tequila. We found this concoction via Posh Little Designs. This drinks brings together an interesting fusion of flavors from the lavender, grapefruit and tequila.
- Grapefruit Juice (freshly squeezed)
- Lavender Simple Syrup
- Fresh Lime Juice
- DRY Lavender Soda
Here’s to your Friday and Happy Hour!
This week for our happy hour we are making a classic cocktail. The Gin & Tonic. Enjoy!
- Hendrick’s Gin
- Boylan Heritage and W&P Design Tonic Water
- A slice of lemon
It was out first try of Hendrick’s and Boylan Tonic water and we must say they were delicious. Especially, the tonic water! I never realized how much of a difference a good tonic water makes. I would highly recommend it. Happy Friday!
Taking cues from the lovely blog of HonestlyWTF, I followed one of their DIY projects this week. Mind-Blown! Who knew shaving cream and food coloring could be so fun?!
Breaking into Spring with this Grapefruit Fizz. And I mean breaking! This cocktail adds a huge punch of grapefruit. I, myself, don’t eat grapefruits, but two sips into the cocktail and I’m digging the flavors.
1.5 oz. freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, 1.5 oz. Heritage Distilling Ruby Red Grapefruit Vodka, 2 oz. Spindrift Grapefruit Seltzer
Fill glass with ice. Add juice and vodka. Top off with Seltzer. Garnish with grapefruit and rosemary. Sip and enjoy!!
