We loved creating this DIY(s) with Birch & Goldberry’s paper and products for Ruffled Blog. The projects could be endless, so we held back and created hexagon table runner, stitch placemats, menu details, overhead installation, bridesmaid gift box, and paper flowers – all out of Birch and Goldberry’s hand painted gift wrap.

Shot by the talented , this sleek + modern design from DIY contributor and Event Stylists drew us in right from the start. From the hand stitched placemats to the hexagonal table runner to the triangular chandelier, we’d fall right down the rabbit hole if it led to a paper-filled wonderland like this. This vignette most definitely has a wow-factor, and we can’t imagine a more perfect setting for getting together with your girls.

We are so excited to be featured on Ruffled for our DIY paper backdrop that we created! We are a little bit in love with it. You can see the full post here.
This past week we were fortunate to collaborate with a local company, Flower Bombers. They’ve been loving on our concept boards lately and wanted to use one as a jumping off point for a new floral design. Thus, our awesome collaboration to create the Peaches & Cream wrap began! We spent the morning at a local floral wholesaler trying to find the right combination of flowers and greenery that would take inspiration from our Mid Mod(ern) board from this week. After some play time at their shop our masterpiece was complete! We might just be a little bit in love with these Gerbera Daisy’s. They’re just so bold, bright, and mid mod perfect! We hope you love what we came up with!

We are ecstatic to announce the publication of our spring styled shoot: How to Celebrate With a Purpose, in Smitten Magazine! This shoot was spearheaded by photographer Meigan Canfield out of Breckenridge and ourselves. The focus of this shoot was to showcase sustainable and socially aware practices in the event industry. We collected a team of vendors that considered themselves beneficial to this idea (i.e. sustainable/green, humanitarian, organic/vegan, recyclers, etc). Our goal was to help provide inspiration for the modern day couple interested in giving back to the community, or throwing a more sustainable celebration WITHOUT having to resort to what may automatically come to mind with these ideas (green, hemp, DIY, twine). We designed it to be colorful, bold, elegant and chic. And we love it!

In August, we were one of the lucky participants to be chosen to help design the Big Fake Wedding in Denver this year. Pulling inspiration from the concept board that they sent us, we created the ceremony back drop and 3 tablescapes.
The ceremony backdrop set the tone for the wedding with clean greenery and pops of robust red. We simplified and abstracted the large, overflowing window baskets you see all over Italy. The soft vertical strips of fabric and ruscus soften the ballroom, while vines were tied to chairs and leaves were scattered along the aisle to bring the whole room together.
Our tablescapes were complete with sweet Italian sayings on each place setting to get guest’s hearts pumping. We opened up their senses with fresh herbs on each table. The centerpieces were both beautiful and functional – merlot in glass carafes. Finally, laser cut table numbers and gold trimmed glass terrariums added that extra modern touch that speaks back to our overall ENLY brand. In the end, the ceremony and tablescapes created an experience that felt very Italian. Enjoy!
